TJ’s Seeking: Creative Lead/Director23/05/13
We are looking for a Creative/Art Director to front single and multi-media projects from concept to final delivery, incorporating CGI, photographic, live-action and post-production methodologies. Working with the client to direct and hone the creative vision, develop the solution and delivery expectations and then guide the production to that agreed goal. The Creative Lead is ultimately responsible for the quality of the final creative work. You must have a strong eye for design and solid drawing and concept design skills. You will be working directly with our CGI team so the ability to use 3DS Max and experience in camera pre-viz and animation is important.
Main Responsibilities
- To interpret the client’s requirements and expectations to then develop proposed creative (and potentially technical) approaches and treatments that align with the defined brief. From pitching through to production, this requires a good eye for design and strong communications with the client and/or agency.
- Responsible for planning and managing the creative work of a campaign, working to the brief set, the Creative Lead will be involved at every stage of the production process including overseeing of operators’ output to ensure that creative and quality standards are met.
- Setting the standards for the quality of workmanship, the Creative Lead is responsible for the quality and effectiveness of all material produced. Visualising the next steps in the production chain is key to ensuring concerns are dealt with efficiently and effectively at the early stages.
Requirements
4 or 5 years experience needed in a creative and directing role
Very good understanding of CGI and photography workflow and related practices
Knowledge of print/press, digital, interactive and broadcast platforms desirable
Experience or awareness of photographic and live-action productions an advantage
Experience working directly with clients/directors and of managing teams
Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills with a good eye for detail
Capable of motivating and leading a team with enthusiasm and clarity
Ability to work effectively in high pressure environments
