For me personally, I hope it could result in a future job for either TJ or a similar company in London. I must confess I have fallen completely in love with both Taylor James and London. All the time up to the internship I was certain that I would go back to Denmark and continue educating myself further – so keep that in mind when you are thinking about doing an internship at Taylor James!”

Our Current Studio Intern
Our current intern, Birk Kromann, joined the programme as part of the international Erasmus scheme and has been with Taylor James since February 2012. On receiving the internship, Birk says “I got the amazing opportunity to get on a three months internship at Taylor James through my teacher at Lillebaelt, James Norwood, who had worked with Taylor James on an earlier project. I am pleased they liked my portfolio and resume enough to give me the opportunity!”
The experience
“It has been a really great opportunity to experience the way the techniques you learn during your education are put into practise in huge, cross-media projects.”
Birk has thoroughly enjoyed his time so far and states; “It is, without any doubt, the best thing I have ever done in relation to my study, and also in general… I guess some of it has to do with living in a totally different country and city; Shoreditch life is very fun!” He continues; “I have gained a lot of skills in all the different areas of the company including production, image management, retouch and photography. I have seen how professional people structure their day and the work they need to do. It has given me a much better understanding of the pipelines of a creative production company.”
And what are the team at Taylor James like? Watch what you say now. “All the staff have been very welcoming and it has been such a pleasure getting to know everybody. There is a really good interaction amongst all the staff; it’s really nice and cosy.” Good answer.
Downsides?
“The only downside is that the time goes so extremely fast so three months seems like a couple of weeks.”
