Famous for the colourful characters on their aircraft tail wings, Frontier Airlines have taken their mascots off the tarmac and straight into some cool new locations. From Taylor James’ studio in NYC, Wildchild and TJ worked closely with the creative team from Grey to create one of the spots that sees Jack the Rabbit return home to meet the family.
TJ built Jack’s new home by templating a 3D environment and matte painting using TJ Library material to combine these with a Live-action shoot of bunnies. Shot on location in New Jersey, with temperatures in the high 30s, its wasn’t quite the winter scene. Glen Taylor, TJ’s founder, directed the spot, with an understanding and motivated crew all mucking in to control our 15 furry friends.
