Working with Rothco, TJ created the image for 02’s latest summer campaign, a billboard ad at Dublin Airport and Aer Lingus’ in-flight magazine, Cara. Their “See the World as One” campaign was commissioned to promote the brand’s low-cost roaming charges for clients going abroad for their holidays. The image comprised of four different houses set in different locations around the globe: a snowy igloo, a modern minimalist house, a traditional beach hut on stilts. The backgrounds of each setting were photographic images and the houses and igloo were created completely in CGI. The igloo was created in CGI with photographic textures applied, enhancing its photo-real quality. The final layout is a photo-realistic and eye-catching image communicating the initial concept to audiences; you could be away at any of these destinations but still pay low prices using your phone.
