The Role
We are looking for a multi-disciplinary Creative Director to join our fantastic New York team! If you have a love for all things Design, CGI and VFX for Print and Motion then this could be for you.
The ideal candidate would have "on the box" experience with a proven track record of delivering productions from concept to completion. We are looking for someone who has an eye for realism and a strong design aesthetic as well as the ability to excite our clients with their pitching skills!
You will work closely with our Head of Production, Executive Producer and Executive Creative director to put together pitch decks, timings and bids and then lead projects from its inception utilizing, our global production resources across NY, LA, Mexico and London.
You will be responsible for exceeding client expectations and delivering projects to the highest creative quality on time, on budget and with a desire to keep pushing the creative envelope. We develop content across Print, Digital and TVC through a range of executions from Technology to Character animation, every project brings something new to the table and the ideal candidate can switch approaches based on the brief and the client's needs.
Clear communication of goals, priorities and deadlines to Artists and team members while motivating the team will be essential, as will the ability to proactively trouble shoot and feedback openly and transparently.
Your positivity, energy and client relationships are critical. The ability to infuse excitement into a creative call and maintain an upbeat production process are key pillars of our offerings to our clients and are critical to the success of your application.
MAIN ASPECTS OF THE ROLE:
· Plan and manage projects from brief to delivery, including client liaison, briefing, team management from initial brief to delivering final campaign on time,
on budget and on brand
· You will be involved at every stage of the production process including production time estimating, planning and scheduling of facility resources,
sourcing freelancers
· Client communication on creative and production calls, to share the concept and production process and to problem solve where necessary
· Compile reference materials and treatments for visual and technical proposals for pitches
· Identify training and development needs within the team, in line with skill sets and objectives – ensure skills of the team are developed to maximize
their efficiency
· Development of production workflow solutions - the ability to foresee potential problems within multi-disciplined workflows and the ability to solve visual
and analytical problems
· Create high quality CGI for print and animation: modelling, texture, shade and lighting, rendering, animation and VFX (rigging, roto/paint, camera
tracking, FX/dynamics, compositing
· Provide artistic technological support to CGI team - manage and oversee output throughout the process to ensure that quality standards are met.
· Direction of work requires close collaboration with the ECD and Production department.
· End of project multimedia management for marketing - maintaining an organized and clear archive system, ultimately ensuring that the marketing and
sales team have the knowledge and access to all Taylor James final files for portfolio and self-promotion purposes
· Office and human resources management including recruiting the necessary positions in line with the effective delivery of projects that meet client
expectations
Advantageous
· A Strong knowledge in any or all post production software is key. Maya, C4D, 3DS MAx, Vray, Arnold, Flame, Nuke, Photoshop, After Effects a
· We will be looking for a strong portfolio of design/CGI work along with strong pitch skills and how well you are able to articulate a creative vision to a
client.
· Experience crossing both Motion and Stills / Retouch or Digital and an understanding of the integrated production process.
· Experience of live action and photographic production, on-set experience, editing, design and audio production would be an asset.
· Understanding of future technologies such as AR, VR and experiential is a bonus.
· Understand of luxury product and the healthcare space is a bonus.
