Taylor James created 4 testimonials, 3 real patient & 1 doctor, to describe their personal experiences with Eliquis. During the interviews, 2D animations appear next to the interviewees of the content being discussed in a whimsical, yet respectful manner to those affected by the disease..

Our talented design team illustrated many beautiful styleframes the encompass the topic matter to be recorded on camera during the shoot. These styleframes eventually turned into the 2D animation that was created in post.

Our in-house director, Jason Guerrero, lead the crew during a 2 day shoot in New Jersey of the 3 talent & 1 doctor interviews. Capturing authentic feelings and coaching non-actors was a challenge the team faced, however, after personal contact with our camera-ready interviewees, the personality came out and we were ready to roll.

After we wrapped the shoot, we began editing the live action. Our first goal was to lock up the edit so then we could plot out the animation timings and sequences. Once the 2D came to life on screen, Compositing was the last stop for polishing and color grades. From talented illustrators, to editors, animators, & compositors, this was a many person job. Thanks to everyone’s hard work, the real stories were delivered in a beautiful story to be shared with people who would benefit from personal accounts.
