EUSTON FOODBANK

Thirteen million people live below the poverty line in the UK, with individuals going hungry every day for a range of reasons, from benefit delays to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why the Euston Foodbank provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. They are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.

James Phillips, our in-house video editor had directed, shot, edited and colour graded this film, showing how the Euston Foodbank was set up, how they help people through volunteering and personal connections, and how you can help by donating or volunteering yourself.
