Right Part, Priced Right
Ford Motorcraft parts are competitively priced, easy to install, and are top-notch quality. That's why Motorcraft is the right part, priced right. GTB asked us to collaborate on the brand video to communicate the benefits of Motorcraft parts in a visually compelling way. Our Automotive Division combined CGI and MGFX to produce the animated video that will run at events, in showrooms, and on Ford Motorcraft's owned media.
PRE PRODUCTION ︱CONCEPT ART
Our concept artist studied several auto centers from different areas to get a comprehensive understanding of their shared visual qualities. The style frames were designed by treating the shop as a character, with its own personality and story. We visualized its movement around the screen and integrated the character into the heart of the campaign for constant moments of interest.
PRE PRODUCTION | ANIMATIC
We combined CG with stylized 2D animation to create the dynamic look of the animation. With only 4 weeks to complete the project, we used our in-house hydraGen® software to render the CAD parts in our pipeline, allowing for a fast turnaround. The music and sound FX were created in-house, so we were able to pace the video and match each defined action with the right sound while keeping the production nimble.
