Lincoln - Carousel

LINCOLN

Carousel

With Hudson Rouge, we created a print campaign for Lincoln demonstrating how non-trained service engineers can take Lincoln owners for a ride. Three carousels were created showing unauthorised engineers fixing the same problem time and time again. The Taylor James CG team gave the pieces a fine porcelain finish and made them look like fictional amusement park rides, complete with working lights and added seats.

PRE PRODUCTION ︱concept art

Ample time was given towards developing the look and feel of this spot through style frames – the look of the characters, the colors, the general aesthetic were all considered.

POST PRODUCTION | TEXTURING & LIGHTING

Developing our carousels meant putting extra care into making the elements feel photo-real. We wanted our mechanics, the cars, and the carousel itself to feel like actual porcelain figures – so to that end, the texturing and lighting of these models, as well as the final compositing, were crucial for the realization of this spot. We delivered a :30 main spot, as well as print images developed from the spot.
