Challenge

RPA presented us with an intriguing challenge: showcasing Honda's most formidable SUV to date, the Honda Pilot. This vehicle had to exemplify its rugged toughness while also embodying luxury and refinement. While this might seem easy on paper, translating it into pixels was the real test. We had to employ every tool in our creative arsenal, from conquering mountainous terrains to crossing streams and seamlessly blending into upscale environments.

Meeting this challenge was a collaborative effort with RPA. We meticulously crafted complete environments based on their concept sketches. This approach allowed us to explore each shot creatively, seeking not just the perfect angles but also the ideal lighting, ambiance, and even weather conditions. Yes, we even conjured rain on our sets when needed. While still images can capture a vehicle's rugged capabilities, the Honda Pilot demanded more. We fully rigged the suspension to animate and demonstrate the SUV's "go anywhere" prowess. The outcome of our meticulous environment creation, weather manipulation, and technical precision was a captivating series of images that authentically showcased the Honda Pilot.
